San Juan, Puerto Rico- El Departamento de Rentas Internas de los Estados Unidos (IRS, por sus siglas en inglés) reconoció oficialmente a Centro Ararat, Inc. como una organización 501 (c)(3).
Section 501(c)(3) is the part of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code that allows for federal tax exemption for nonprofit organizations, specifically those that are considered public charities or private foundations.
Esta nueva designación de Centro Ararat permitirá licitar propuestas de servicios con entidades públicas y privadas que previamente no se podían acceder. También, permitirá recibir donaciones de entidades localizadas en y fuera de Puerto Rico que quieran obtener una deducción contributiva federal por la aportación realizada.
